So glad you're here...

At 17, I was given the opportunity to assist a mother with her triplet boys, each exhibiting varying degrees of behavioral challenges. This experience ignited my passion for helping children learn, grow, and develop positively. Above all, I was eager to understand how to bring out the best in each of them.

My name is Megan Dare and for the past 20 years I have worked with children from ages 18 months to 18 years old. I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a master's degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin. At UT Austin, I focused on Early Childhood Education and Autism. I became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in 2010.

My background encompasses working with clients who are gifted, twice exceptional, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, as well as those with developmental and genetic disabilities. Additionally, I have experience assisting children and families with various challenges, including toilet training, communication difficulties, picky eating, and fostering independence in self-help routines like hygiene and homework.

My practice centers on fostering a child's growth and independence through self-help routines like homework and chores. Additionally, I provide coaching for parents to implement strategies that encourage harmony and collaboration within the family. I absolutely value a "whole family" approach to the services I offer.

I have been residing in Colorado since 2013, and I love engaging in activities such as hiking, swimming, reading, and bird watching, all while spending time with my husband and our dog, Mocha. I am also active in my community through volunteering and collaborating with organizations that host "Sensory Friendly" events. My partners include the Butterfly Pavilion, WOW! Children's Museum, Lafayette Library, Denver Art Museum, and Children's Museum Denver.
