This 45 minute consultation with Megan is for parents struggling with challenging behaviors exhibited by their child. For example, this might include biting, tantrums, or complete meltdowns. My goal is to provide you with techniques that will help your child overcome the challenging behavior(s).
Parent coaching also includes an understanding of the support a child may need to learn a new skill. These skills may include self help tasks such as: brushing teeth, tying shoes, getting dressed, and tasks around the home (putting dirty clothes away, putting dirty dishes away, putting away clean clothes, etc).
I also provide guidance and direction to parents that have just received an ASD diagnosis and are waiting for insurance to kick in. This may include valuable support tools and referrals for your child's unique diagnosis.
Clients will receive a 10 - 20 minute questionnaire regarding the behavior(s) you would like to work on.
Clients are asked to select between a Virtual or In-Person session or a combination of both.
For "In Person Sessions" the client must live in Boulder County, Colorado. A trip fee may apply for clients in the Greater Denver Area.
